Accommodations
This 48' Sea Ray 480 Motor Yacht 2004 offers multi-level living spaces; starting with the spacious enclosed pilothouse-aft deck that will be your "salon-with-a-view" and the area where your guests will congregate while at the dock or underway. Step aboard from the swim platform, up the stairs through the transom door, or step aboard through either mid-ship boarding gate from the folding and adjustable aluminum boarding ladder that is conveniently stored on either side-deck.
Enter the air conditioned and carpeted aft deck through either of two clear acrylic wing doors from the wide side-decks and you'll find generous seating aft, with a removable table, facing the wet bar with a U-Line refrigerator and ice-maker, 26" Samsung LCD TV, Clarion Stereo and CD Player, and plenty of storage. When the weather's nice, unzip the clear acrylic and Sunbrella enclosure panels and enjoy the fresh air. The air-conditioned helm is forward to starboard and features plush Captain's and Mate's seats with armrests that are fully-adjustable. The sliding companionway is to port.
Dixie Duo has a spacious 3 stateroom layout. Starting aft the master stateroom features a Queen walk-around bed and ensuite split private head with vanity and shower; with upgraded Grohe faucets and shower fixtures and a VacuFlush toilet. The head and shower areas are each behind their own doors, separated by a vanity sink with a "hidden" jewelry cabinet behind the mirror. Throughout this yacht, are high-gloss, dark cherry cabinets and cedar-lined lockers, Corian counters, rich ultra-leather settees and custom designer bedding with matching pillows. There are plenty of drawers and hanging lockers so you can unpack your suitcases and move aboard for extended cruising. Lots of lighting options; both natural and incandescent.
The salon is open and bright with a large deck-light window forward and large side windows with silhouette style day/night blinds. The ultra-leather furniture and moveable coffee table and two ottomans with hidden storage are not only comfortable but are very functional allowing the large open space to be used in many different ways. Aft in the salon is the well-equipped Entertainment Center with a 42" Toshiba LCD TV and Clarion Stereo, CD and DVD players and the electrical panels are on the port side aft.
Keeping with the open floor plan, the dinette with Corian table top is across from the galley with wrap-around Corian countertops, Kenyon electric stove, upright Norcold dual-voltage refrigerator with freezer, Sharp convection microwave oven, and Amtico-style wood flooring. Under the walkway between the galley and dinette, the floor lifts up for easy access to a full size Splendide 2000 washer and dryer combo, clean dry storage space, and access to the two battery chargers, freshwater tank control manifolds, and two spare props.
The large guest head forward has a fully-enclosed shower also upgraded with Grohe faucet and shower head. The vanity has a Corian countertop and sink with a mirrored cabinet above and cabinets below and there is a VacuFlush toilet. Separate doors provide access from the forward guest stateroom and to the hallway.
The VIP stateroom forward has a queen-size bed, plenty of storage drawers, a cedar-lined hanging locker, and a Toshiba TV. Aft to port is a separate access to the guest head which also has a door for access from the hallway.
The Guest Stateroom is opposite the Guest Head to starboard and forward of the dinette. It has a large hanging locker and two twin berths with filler cushion that can become a third queen.
